Gusto Games is a dynamic games development studio based in the village of Bloxham, in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside.

Gusto offers work experience to a limited number of students each year, but they do not offer currently offer student internships.

Q. How long does it take Gusto to respond to a job application?

A. Once your application has been received you will be sent an acknoledgement email. Gusto aims to review applications within a week, but sometimes this can take longer so please bear with us. Once your application has been reviewed we will send you an email informing you of our decision.

Q. What is the best way to submit an application?

A. We prefer that applications are sent by email via the link on the website stating the job you are applying for, your covering letter, CV and demo. Q.What projects are you currently working on?

A. 2010 will see the completion of 5 titles on PC, Wii, PS3 and XB360 for Activision, Black Bean, Scholastic and O-Games.

Q.Do you carry out telephone interviews?

A. No, we do not carry out telephone interviews as we feel that it is important to meet people face-to-face. However, we are happy to answer any questions or concerns prior to arranging an interview.

Q. Do Gusto contribute to travel expenses?

A. No, due to the high number of candidates who travel long distances to attend interviews at Gusto, we are not able to offer any contribution towards expenses.

Q. What is the interview procedure?

A. Interviews are one stage; they usually last a minimum of one hour and involve a short written test relating to the position you are applying for.

Q. What is the dress code for interviews?

It's fine to dress casually for interviews at Gusto; suits are not necessary!

Q. How do you foster and build a team spirit and maintain morale within the team?

A. Gusto is a team spirited organisation and its people are vital to its success.  With a strong work ethic and hands-on approach, morale is kept high by the distinctive drive to produce good quality games as one of Europe’s most respected development studios.

Q. How are employees developed within the organisation?
